GOOD FOOD RESOLUTION SERIES: BONE BROTH + TONICS

This skill building workshop we will explore making bone broth and tonic beverages that you can make in your homes. The hands on class taught brings many benefits and has been know to improve digestion, allergies, immune health, brain health and so much more. This ancient technique taught by Jen Gawne will teach a hands on workshop making bone broth and tonics that are healing, mineral rich, will help the immune system fortifying during times of stress, colds and flus. These healing brews will keep you healthy and energized throughout the winter months. Bring your yoga mat or pillows to sit on, notebook and pen and a container to take home samples made during the hands-on workshop.

Instructor: Jen Gawne of Wild Peach Preserves is the food security coordinator for the Women’s Centre in Nelson  Jen is also an organizing partner for the Kootenay Herb Conference and a member of the West Kootenay Permaculture Co-op. Jen loves living, learning and eating Kootenays.
