Pruning 101 Returns this March!

Learn pruning techniques to encourage healthy tree growth and flowering (in the case of flowering plants). You will look at your tree in a whole new light and begin to tend your trees for future harvests and beauty!
This intensive, hands-on workshop – delivered as a collaboration with Kootenay Food & Selkirk College – dives into food forest planning and permaculture design principles. Focus on fruit trees and shrubs, and incorporates an in-class component and outdoor, hands-on instruction. Key takeaways include: good tree structure; intro to usage and maintenance of pruning tools; and best practices for pruning and maintenance to encourage production and flowering.
